A. Reviewing previous Elicit (5minutes)
lesson or presenting Let the students sing along with the song video about
the new lesson latitude and longitude. (Longitude and Latitude Song)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ-X8UDz0EA

Using globe or map, ask students to identify latitude

and longitude and locate the tropical region, temperate

region, and polar region and also give examples of

places that are found in tropical regions, temperate
regions and polar regions.
Let students answer the questions in a complete -The earth’s axis is

C. Presenting examples/ Show an illustration and tell student to study the
instances of the new illustration. Ask the student to describe what they can

No dry season; with a very pronounced maximum rain

period from November to April. Regions that have type

eastern and northern Camarines Norte and Camarines
Sur, eastern Mindanao, eastern Quezon and Samar.

Type III

Seasons are not very pronounced; relatively dry from

November to April and wet during the rest of the year.
The regions with this type of climate are the western
parts of Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, the eastern
portion of the Mountain Provinces, Southern Quezon,
Masbate, Romblon, Northeast Panay, EasternNegros,
Central and Southern Cebu, part of Northern Mindanao,
and part of Eastern Palawan.

Western Camarines Sur and Albay, Bondoc Peninsula,
Eastern Mindoro, Marinduque, Western Leyte, Northern
Cebu, Bohol and most of central, eastern and

types of climate in the Philippines?
