The Epiroc IBH10 drill is a crawler mounted, hydraulic powered, self-contained and self-
propelled blasthole rig, designed to perform down-the-hole drilling operations in toughest
mining conditions. The IBH10 is proven in the market and comes with a great reputation for
its performance in limestone and coal mining.
DTH applications & critical sites
The IBH10 is made precisely to drill in the critical working
benches where bigger drills cannot be operated. It has the
right selection of power pack to keep the fuel consumption
at it’s lowest. It can drill in medium to hard formation with
down-the-hole method. On-board is a diesel powered
engine combined with the market leading Epiroc screw
compressor for getting unmatched drilling performance.
It’s smaller size with the combination of hydraulic feed
cylinder system, helps reaching critical sites quickly and
provides faster drilling rate.
Hands free operations
Safety is a priority on the IBH10; hence, our new breakout
wrench is an automated hands free system. Most of, the
time, operators have to get down the cabin for aligning
the rod flats with the wrench which increases the risk of
accident and loss of productive time, resulting in slower
drilling rates.
Our new system in hydraulically operated from the
operator’s cabin, making it safe and fast for breaking the
rod and hammer joints.
Improved comfort and visibilty
All operating functions are controlled from the
operator’s cabin with a central console that is
strategically located for full visibility while drilling
and tramming. All gauges, as well as controls, are
mounted on this console. The operating voltage
of all the equipments within the cab is 110V or 24V
DC. Heavy duty rubber floor mats for operator
convenience are provided.
All doors, windows and vents have dust and
weather proof seals. All control gauges and meters
are clearly and permanently marked with easily
recognizable symbols. The operator’s seat is a fully
adjustable suspension seat that can be used for
both operating control console and tramming. The

Build to last

product history. Our success is no secret, we
design with robustness in mind and select the
highest quality components. Vibrations can take
a toll on any mechanical equipment, especially
in the case of drilling. Our team has taken care to
design around these. Some examples are lowering
the centre of gravity and isolating the engine from
the main frame. Reducing the vibrations extends
the mechanical life of the machine, reduces
maintenance cost and increases productivity.
