Introduction: We, students of Saint Francis of Assisi College, extend our warm greetings. We are currently engaged in a research endeavor entitled "The Perspectives of HUMSS Students Regarding Limited Humanities-Aligned Career Opportunities" as an essential component of our Qualitative Research subject. Research Details: The fundamental objective of our research is to understand how Humanities and Social Sciences Students perceive their options on pursuing a career aligned with their academic strand. To achieve this aim, we will be carefully selecting participants through purposive sampling. The study’s participants will be ten (10) students from 11 - Saint Joseph and five (5) students from 12 - Saint John. Participation and Confidentiality: Your involvement in our research is at your discretion, and declining to participate will in no way result in any negative repercussions. The data collection process will involve a face to face interview with open-ended questions, which may encompass questionnaires made by the researchers. The said interview process will be recorded and documented. All of the information provided by the respondents will be kept private and confidential, with access limited to the research adviser and researchers in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012. This phase will span approximately 30 minutes. We acknowledge that some questions might touch on personal or sensitive topics, potentially leading to discomfort. However, you maintain the right to abstain from answering any such questions.
