The best menu of Me And You

Appetiser
● Avocado hummus

INGREDIENTS

● 1 can no-salt-added chickpeas


● 1 ripe avocado
● 1 cup cilantro leaves
● ¼ cup tahini
● ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
● ¼ cup of lemon juice
● 1 clove garlic
● 1 teaspoon ground cumin
● ½ teaspoon salt

PREPARATION

Drain chickpeas, reserving 2 tablespoons of that liquid. Transfer the


chickpeas and the reserved liquid to a food processor. Add the
avocado, cilantro, tahini, and then the oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin
and lastly the salt. Purée it until it get very smooth. Now you can
serve it with some chips to dip in.
Main course
● Tandoori Chicken with Rice

INGREDIENTS

● 1 1/2 cups plain yoghurt


● 2 tbsp oil
● 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
● 2 tsp ginger, grated
● 5 garlic cloves, minced
● 3 tsp gram masala spice mix
● 1.5 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
● 1 tsp turmeric powder
● 2 tsp cumin
● 2 1/2 tsp coriander powder
● 1/2 tsp chilli powder, adjust to taste
● 1 tsp salt

CHICKEN:

● 1.2kg / 2.4lb drumsticks, bone-in skin on chicken thighs or


Maryland's
● Oil spray

RICE:

● 360 g. Rice (2 cups)


● 500 ml. Water (2,4 cups)

PREPARATION
First, mix Marinade ingredients in a large bowl and then add the
chicken, cover it and marinate from 12 to 24 hours.

Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Line a tray with foil and place a
rack on the tray.

After letting, it marinates, we remove chicken from the Marinade,


shaking off excess (reserve the Marinade), and place it on the rack.
Bake it for 20 minutes, then slather Marinade generously on both
sides.

Bake it for a further 10 minutes, brush the top with marinade.

Then, bake a further 10 minutes, do a final baste with marinade,


then spray it with oil.

Finally, increase the heat to 220C/450F. Bake it for a further 10 to


15 minutes until you get some nice charred spots. And lastly, Serve
it with plain Basmati Rice

Dessert
● frozen berry yoghurt

INGREDIENTS

​ 250g Frozen mixed berry


​ 250g Greek yoghurt
​ 1 teaspoon honey or agave syrup
​ PREPARATION
Blend berries, yoghurt and honey or agave syrup in a food
processor for 20 seconds, until it comes together to a smooth
ice-cream texture. Scoop into bowls and serve.

Our menu is the healthier because we think that we can provide
different types of dishes for anyone. Our dishes are prepared with a
lot of care, and we thought about every ingredient we put in. As
well, we think our dishes are complete and people could like every
one of them, because, even if they are healthy we have chosen
dishes that almost everyone loves, but we made it healthier than
they are.
