Sources of Data

Without good data, a system can't function well. In this study, researchers will
gather information through interviews to understand the problem they're trying to solve.
This data is essential for them to find a solution. To get reliable information about their
proposed system, the researchers will interview Dr. Karen Cendana and her staff. This will
help ensure they have accurate data.

Books. To deepen their understanding, the researchers will consult books as a key
source of information.

Journals. To strengthen their case for the proposed system, the researchers will
seek out relevant and reliable evidence from academic journals.

Websites. The researchers are on a mission to improve their system. To achieve

this, they're taking a two-pronged approach to data collection.

First, they'll be scouring online resources for relevant information. Second, they'll
delve deeper by incorporating data from both published and unpublished theses within the
Asian College of Technology. By combining these sources, they hope to create a rich
dataset that will reveal areas for improvement in their system.

Methods and Techniques

The following methods and techniques will be used in the development of the
process system:

Agile Method. The researchers will use Agile method because iterative and collaborative
nature of Agile methodology makes it well-suited for developing dental clinic
management systems that are responsive to changing requirements, promote
stakeholder involvement, and deliver value to end-users efficiently.

Interview Method. The researchers will conduct an interview in order to prevent

misinterpretation of any problem.

Observation Method. The researchers will observe the process to ensure that the
information they gather reflects the current situation.

Models

The following models will be used by the researchers that will serve as the
graphical presentation to analyze the different aspects and the flow of the proposed
system:

Use Case Diagram. The researchers will use the system to have a visual representation of

the user and their interaction with the proposed system.

Entity-Relationship Model. The ER model will help the researchers to model and design

relational database.

Class Model. Researchers will use a class diagram in their study to illustrate the

relationships between objects and classes in the proposed system.

Tools

The following tools will be used by the researchers in developing the proposed

system:

ERDPlus. It will be used by the researchers to build diagrams.

Figma. It will be used by the researchers in creating the prototype User

Canva. The researchers will use this tool to edit the website for the proposed system.

C# Language. It will used by the researchers to create dynamic web-based application

that can interact with the server, the database, and the user.

Visual Studio. The researchers will use it as their main integrated environment in order to
develop the system.

Microsoft Office Word. It will be used by the researchers in documenting the research and
the proposed system.

Development Process

The development process of the Cendana Dental Clinic Management System will
be depicted in the diagram.
