Chorus:Reacts to events as they happen, generally in a


predictable, though not consistent, way. It generally
expresses a longing for calm and stability conflates the
people of “Thebes” with the audience in the theater. The
message of the play, delivered directly to that audience,
genuinely express the thought.
Plot:In the beginning, Oedipus decides to leave his home
in Cornith to escape the terrible prophecy that says he will
kill his father and marry his mother and leave a shameful
descent.And he began to wander around the greece
inorder to escape the terrible prophecy. Oedipus defeated
the sphinx ,saved the seven-gated city of Thebes, and
married the queen Jocasta.After that they got married and
had a children.His city was plagued, and people
suffered.Oedipus ordered Creon to find the murderer of
the first husband of his wife Queen Jocasta .After learning
it to the oracle of Delphi that the plague would stop once
the murderer would be punished.When Oedipus finds out
that the one who killed the first husband of Queen Jocasta
named King Laius was him when he was younger back
then.He also discover that his parents from the Cornith
was his not bioligical parents and his real parents were
King Laius as her father and his wife Queen Jocasta was
his real mother.When Queen Jocasta found out that his
son Oedipus she hangs herself,while Oedipus blinds his
self.

Dialogs/Language: The dialog is used to enlighten the


story or play especially the emotional intensity of the
scene,theatrical and lofty message.The language conveys
the important matters base on the story and play.

Custumes:It conveys as the ancient greek costume that


state as colorful bright costumes and mask.The colors and
mask convey particular information.The costumes
represents and convey the role of the story.
