NUAMBS STUDENT WEEK BUDGET APPLICATION

Greetings, I am writing from the office of the Director of Socials to formally request the approval of the
forthcoming NUAMBS student week activities budget, which is slated to start on Monday, 15th of April
2024.

As the Director of socials of this reputable department, it is my duty to organize social activities once in a
while in order to assist the students balance their academic and social life, this will help the students
understand the university life better. Especially the new students we have onboard who are soaked into
their academic life and are yet to experience the university culture.

These are the activities slated to hold each day, next week starting on the 15th and ending on the
20th:

1. Monday, 15th April - Corporate day

2. Tuesday, 16th April - Costume day (Movie Premiere)
3. Wednesday, 17th April - Green Day (Green Business/Social Corporate Responsibility)
4. Thursday, 18th April - Old school/Rag day
5. Friday, 19th April - Jersey day (Games)
6. Saturday, 20th April - Hangout

Considering the importance of financial transparency and the current economical situation in the
country, I have drafted a comprehensive budget that states the expected expenditures for the week;

 Photoshoot - N20,000
 Games - N15,000
 Movie Premiere - N15,000
 Hangout/ Snacks/ Drinks - N30,000
  DJ and hypeman - N50,000
 Green Day - N30,000

Total estimated budget: N160,000

Please note that the proposed budget has been created after careful consideration of the expected days of
activities and how anticipated this event is.

On Behalf of the students, I humbly request your approval to allocate the estimated budget for the
NUAMBS week event.
