In the modern world, schools are no longer necessary because there is so much information
available through the internet that children can study just as well at home.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or
experience.

In recent years, there are some statements that schools are no longer necessary in the modern
world due to the abundance of information available on the internet. Personally, I completely
disagree with this point of view.
On the one hand, schools offer a good environment which helps children to develop discipline
and time management skills. However, the internet can be quite distracting with social media,
games and other online platform. For example, in school there is a time line that the student has
to followed or the rule to wear the uniform on Monday.
Furthermore, schools provide opportunities for social interaction, which is essential for children's
emotional and mental growth. In contrast, online learning may not have the any chance to
interact with each other and the children might miss out on these experience. For instance, in a
classroom, students learn to collaborate, communicate and solving the problem, those soft skills
are very important in their future life.
In conclusion, while it is true that the internet provides a various of knowledge and resources, I
still believe schools hold a significant part of helping children not only in study but also in their
development.
