II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION


The DIY Bag Project is a community initiative aimed at creating handmade bags to be distributed
to the students of Pandacan, Manila. These bags will serve as a means to support students who are
financially incapable of providing the necessary school supplies and meeting their educational needs.

III. PROJECT RATIONALE

The DIY Bag Project is motivated by the desire to address the challenges faced by students in
Pandacan, Manila, who come from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. Many of these students
struggle to afford basic school supplies, including bags to carry their books and materials. By providing
them with handmade bags, we aim to alleviate their financial burden and ensure that they have the
necessary tools to pursue their education.

IV. PROJECT BENEFICIARIES


The primary beneficiaries of the DIY Bag Project are the students residing in Pandacan, Manila.
These students come from families with limited financial resources and may not have access to proper
school supplies.

V. PROJECT OBJECTIVES

• Provide handmade bags to students in Pandacan, Manila, who are financially incapable of
purchasing their own.
• The project aims to distribute handmade bags created by individual students of section A14 to
students in Pandacan, Manila.
• The project will engage students to create and assemble the bags within a three-day timeframe.
• The project aims to address the specific needs of financially disadvantaged students in Pandacan,
Manila, by providing them with essential school supplies in the form of handmade bags.
• The project will complete the bag-making process and finalize the distribution within the three-
day project timeline.
