Ethics and morality are fundamental aspects of our lives, guiding us through the complexities of

interactions with others and the world around us. The concepts of ethics and morality are closely
related to one another. They both deal with principles of right and wrong behavior, which helps
people and societies decide what is good or bad, just or unjust, virtuous or immoral.
Ethics comes from the word “ethos” meaning character or moral nature. Ethics can be thought of
as a set of rules or precepts that direct us toward the proper course of behavior in different
circumstances. In addition, it is also the systematic study of the rightness or wrongness of an
action. Another is that the Ethics is a study or a science of an action, meaning that studying the
morality of an action is under it as a branch of ethics. While the Morality comes from the word
“MOS” which means custom or manner of an action. Morality, on the other hand, means it
tackles with our personal values and beliefs about what is right and wrong. Morality of a man is
shown in the rightness and wrongness of their action. Morality is what a person based on how it
was shown by an individual, it just that how a person did it right or wrong. Ethics and morality
are essential for developing compassion, empathy, and cooperation in society. Regardless of
variations in beliefs, backgrounds, or situations, they offer a framework for appreciating and
respecting each person's worth and dignity. We can build a more equitable and peaceful society
where people can prosper and live in harmony with one another by preserving moral ideals and
ethical standards, although somehow that the basis on understanding or clarifying the actions of a
person is sometimes being affected by our beliefs and self-principles only because we see the
world like on how we see our environment we live on. Ethics and morality provide us with
direction as we negotiate the challenges of life, make morally sound choices, and act with
kindness and compassion to improve the lives of others and ourselves.
