The crochet heart crop top is a cute top that can be worn for valentine.
This top can be finished in about 3 hours.It has a heart detailing on the
chest and it’s tied at the back and neck with straps. This post contains
the written instructions for the backless crop top. It fits bust size 32-38
inches. This top is great for the summer weather. It’s very beginner
friendly and a very easy pattern. The written pdf pattern contains photo

towards the middle.

Upper Chest
Reattach yarn with a Slst to one edge of the top and work from the edge
through the 12 chains to the other end.
Row 31: Ch 2, turn. Hdc2tog twice, Hdc in each stitch across, finish with
Hdc2tog twice (28 stitches)
Row 32: Ch 2, turn. Hdc2tog twice, Hdc in the next 14 stitches, Ch 1 skip
1, HdcCS, Ch 1 skip 1, Hdc 2, Hdc2tog twice (24 stitches)
Row 33: Ch 2, turn. Hdc2tog , Hdc in each stitch across, finish with
Hdc2tog (22 stitches)
Neckline
Ch 10, reattach yarn to the edge of the project Slst through all 18 stitches
from row 35 Ch 12
Row 1: Hdc in the third chain from the hook and in the next 6 stitches,
Ch 1 skip 1, HdcCS, Ch skip 1, Hdc 12,Ch 1 skip 1, HdcCS, Ch 1 skip 1,
finish row with Hdc 11(38 stitches)
Row 2: Ch 2, turn. Hdc in the first stitch and in each stitch across. (38

Row 3: Ch 2, turn. Hdc in the first stitch and in the next 14 stitches, Ch 1
skip 1, HdcCS, Ch skip 1, Hdc 12,Ch 1 skip 1, HdcCS, Ch 1 skip 1, finish
row with Hdc 3(38 stitches)
Heart Finishing
Reattach yarn with a Slst to the 5th of the 12 chain that connects the
heart,
Row 1: Ch 2, Hdc into the same stitch and the next 3 stitches (4 stitches)
Ch 50, Sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, and in each stitch across (49
stitches) Slst to the beginning Ch 1 and cut yarn.
Back Straps
Attach yarn with a Slst to one of the edges of the first row of the project,
Ch 120, cut yarn.
Finishing
Pass the back straps through the 4th and 7th rows on both ends in a
criss-cross manner
