1. Three resistors valued at 2 Ω, 6 Ω and 4 Ω respectively are connected in series with a

i) Determine the total resistance RT of the resistors in the series circuit .[1]

RT = R1+ R2+ R3 ⇒ RT = 2 Ω + 6 Ω + 4 Ω ⇒ RT = 12 Ω

ii) Determine the current I0 flowing in the series circuit.[2]

i) Determine the total resistance RT of the resistors in the Parallel circuit .[1]
