It is submitted for your kind consideration that I have been selected and got offer of
appointment to the post of Executive Assistant in Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs under
direct recruitment on the basis of SSC CGLE 2023 and I have been allotted the Office of the Principal
Chief Commissioner of CGST & Central Excise, Mumbai Zone, GST Bhawan, 115, Maharshi Karwe Road,
Opp. Churchgate Station, Mumbai – 400020 vide File No.: II/(3)/APPT/15/2024-ESTT-O/o Pr COMMR-
CGST-PUNE-I Appointment Order No. Pune GST & CX/CCO/ EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT/93496, dated
09.02.2024.

In the letter cited in reference no. 1, I have been directed to join the post till 11.03.2024. I
have applied for extension for joining the post because of office work. On 15.03.2024, I have received
extension letter in Joining the post from the O/o the Principal Chief Commissioner of CGST & Central
Excise, Mumbai Zone cited in reference no. 2, wherein I have been directed to join the post latest by
11.05.2024.

Please refer to my prior intimation letter dated 02.11.2023 wherein I informed that I had
applied and appeared for SSC CGLE 2023 before joining the department & intimation letter dated
08.12.2023 wherein I informed that I had been selected for the post of Executive Assistant in CBIC
through SSC CGLE 2024. I have also obtained No Objection Certificate from the department for
appearing for Document Verification of the above mentioned examination.
 Consequent upon my selection for the post of Executive Assistant in CBIC, I wish to tender my
technical resignation on current post (Tax Assistant). A copy of the new appointment letter is enclosed
for your kind reference.

In view of better future and career opportunities, I request the benign commissioner to accept
my technical resignation with all the consequential benefits and relieve me on or before 30.04.2024
to join my new post in time.
