Part 1.
- I am a student who has ESTP personality type. I have adaptability, sociable, original, but I am
really impatient.
- About adaptability, Even when facing difficult situations, I choose to live joyfully and happily in
life by eliminating discomfort and enjoying every moment. Therefore, there are also good
memories. For example, when I was in grade 10, difficult subjects like English, science, and
social studies were all grouped together in semester 1, making it tough. However, I approached it
with the mindset that semester 2 would be better, worked hard, adapted to the challenging
situations, and ended semester 1 with good grades. During semester 2, I truly enjoyed life while
leisurely attending school.
- About sociable, I really don’t like being alone, so I always make an effort to get along with
people. As a result, I have communicated with many different people so far and I tend to get
closer with my best friends. For example, even though I transferred to this school in grade 11
from Abbotsford school, I still keep calling with my friends there and sometimes hang out with
them.
- About original, I tend to get easily bored with anything, so I enjoy solving problems with new
ideas and solutions. For example, when solving math problems, I like to try various
mathematical formulas, and if I can't find one, I try to figure it out on my own. Additionally,
when Samsung released foldable phones, it felt completely different from the phones I was used
to, so I bought one immediately to try it out and also searched the internet to understand how it
works. Seeing these things, I decided to pursue a career in engineering in university because I
wanted to create something similar by myself.
- About Impatient, As I mentioned earlier, I have a personality where I pursue whatever I want, so
if I can't do that, I immediately feel anxious. Because of this issue, when I was younger, I had
many conflicts with friends due to my selfish nature, and though it's better now, I still struggle
with this problem.
Part 2.
- As an ESTP, practical thinking, ability to adjust, and knack for thriving in changing
environments make engineering a great fit for me. Especially, I love science, so I think I can be
valuable in mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering. Engineering projects are often
varied, providing the excitement that I can enjoy, and my thinking might help me to adapt to
different situations easily.
