1. Open Inventor™ software.

2. Open a Standard [in].ipt template.

3. The graphics window will appear along with the Browser and the Panel bar,
Standard tool bar, and the Command tool bar.
4. Using the Two Point Rectangle tool, create a rectangle that is 1 ¼ x 7 ½ inches.
5. Verify the geometry (shape and size).
6. Add dimensions to the rectangle, verifying that the length is 7.5 inches and the
height is 1.25 inches.

7. Choose finish sketch, located on the top-right of your ribbon or right click and
choose Finish Sketch. Choose Home View (Isometric) from the View Cube. Your
view of the rectangle should now look like the view shown below.
