Iceland's ABC's

A is for airplane
I am heading to
Iceland on an
airplane, I am
so excited!

I can't wait to see


all the cool things.
B is for Black
Sand Beach
As I am landing, I look
out my window to see a
Black Sand Beach.
C is for car
We land at the
airport and rent
a car.

We start our
adventure
around Iceland.

D is for
Digestives

I am getting
hungry, so we
stop and get
some digestives.
E is for Egils
Appelsín
(Iceland's orange
soda)

And some Egils Appelsín,


which is Iceland’s orange
soda.
F is for Fish &
Chips

We can’t forget
about the Fish and
Chips.
G is for Glacier

We see a
glacier on our
way.
H is for Hot
Springs

The next day we go to


the Hot Springs.
I is for Ice
caves

The ice caves were


pretty cool too.
J is for Junipers

Alongside, the road there is a


shop that sells mini juniper
trees.
K is for Króna

We stop to buy one


with our Króna which
is Iceland's currency.
L is for Lazy
Town
Later in the hotel, I
turn on the tv and
see that a show
called Lazy Town is
on.
M is for Mink
The next day
we go on an
animal tour
and see some
Mink.
N is for
Northern Lights
The Northern
Lights are shining
bright.
O is for Orca
An Orca is
swimming
about.
P is for Puffin
Above on the
cliff, there is a
puffin about.
Q is for Quiet

While there is a
bunch of wildlife
roaming about the
towns are very
quiet.
R is for
Reykjavík
The town that is not
so quiet is Reykjavík,
the capital of Iceland.
S is for Sheep
Far away for the
city the sheep
baa all day long.
T is for Tundra

The sheep are roaming


around the Icelandic
Tundra.
U is for
Umbrella
On the tundra it is
raining, I guess it's
time for an Umbrella.
V is for Volcano

In the distance, you can hear a


volcano rumbling.
W is for
Waterfall
However, the waterfall is
beautiful.
X is for Xmas
Even though I went in the
summer, I think about what
Iceland is like during Xmas
or Christmas.
Y is for Yarn
If I had gone in the winter I
probably would have worn a
sweater made with yarn from
the wool of an Icelandic sheep.
Z is for Zipline
The last thing we do on
our adventure to Iceland
is Zipline
Our trip to Iceland has come
to an end.

So sad to be going
back home.

As I leave the beautiful


landscape, I think to
myself, until next time
Iceland.
A pawprint
made out of
rocks.

A building
near the
town of Vik.
A beautiful
Icelandic
waterfall.

A beautiful
Icelandic
mountain.
