A soccer ball was hit from the ground at a distance of 10 m. from
the goal. The ball was hit with a velocity of 20 ms-1 at 300 to the
ground. Calculate:

(b) the vertical component of initial velocity
(c) the maximum height reached
(d) the time to travel 10 m.
(e) the height after travelling 10 m.
(f) the goal is 2 m. high. Could the ball have gone in ?

A boy throws a ball from a balcony at a height of 3 m.
above the ground. He throws it with a velocity of 15 ms-1
at an angle of 600 to the horizontal.

the highest point ?
(b) How far does it travel horizontally ?
