References from SolidWorks

Take a reference to the steering wheel from the bulkhead=634.277mm=63cm

And take a reference to the steering wheel from the base of the car = 187.49mm=19cm
Reference from CATIA

Reference the pedal to the farthest part of the car=293mm=29cm

For 150cm from the pedal and bulkhead

Interference!

We find that the distance of 150 cm between the pedal and the brake head is not suitable for him.
For 157cm from the pedal and bulkhead
For 157cm from the pedal and bulkhead

Interference !
(Without helmet)
Max. distance from head to bulkhead= 204mm=20cm

Min. distance from head to bulkhead= 108mm=10cm

The best dimensions of the steering wheel for him :from bulkhead to steering wheel 713mm=71cm

For steering wheel: distance from steering wheel to base(height)=257mm=25cm

Rula Analysis
Very small space
There is an interference between the elbow and the car.
Summary for Hakim (height 167cm without helmet)

For Tasneem Reference Now recommended

For Vision (2.5cm )
➢ below illustrations should illustrate better what we expect in Technical Inspection. The
driver should be reasonable able to see 180◦ around the front of the vehicle, allowing
for blind spots due to the monocoque, and behind using the rearview mirrors.
1. Sketch

Manikin with 23cm distance from eyes to bulkhead(height) inside the car.

2. Test with a 1.9 m manikin as object.

Point 7

Place a manikin 1.9 meters tall on point 7. we can’t see the person when the driver’s head angle is zero
degree. It requires the driver to turn his head horizontal at a 40-degree angle. (it is outside the eye range
at zero-degree angle, but we can see it by moving the head at an angle)

40-degree angle
Point 6

Placing a manikin 1.9 meter tall on point 6. requires the driver to turn his head at a horizontal angle of 20
degrees to see it clearly.

Zero-degree angle

25-degree angle
Point 5

Placing a manikin 1.9 meter tall on point 5. we can see the person partially when the driver’s head angle
is zero degree. It requires the driver to turn his head at a horizontal angle of 50 degree to see him
clearly.

From Base
Through trial and error of different box sizes and taking a reference from the base of the car, we
concluded that the vision couldn't be clear before 25cm from the base.

Base
from the ground
Through trial and error of different box sizes and taking a reference from the ground of the car, we
concluded that the vision couldn't be clear before 30cm from the ground.
