TOPIC: Selecting and Organizing Information through Brainstorming List and Graphic Organizer
ACTIVITY TITLE: Let our Voices be Heard

Guidelines:
1. Watch the news or read an online article regarding a national issue.
2. Choose your stand on the issue.
3. Create a brainstorming list using any of the two strategies you learned in this lesson and
a graphic organizer of your choice.
4. Using the generated brainstorming list and graphic organizer, write down a FIVE-
PARAGRAPH (An Introduction, 3 Body paragraphs, and a Conclusion) compelling essay
that will present your stand on the issue.
5. The essay must be written using the third-person point of view and follow the rules of
formal writing.
6. Submit your news article (or link to the video), brainstorming list, graphic organizer, and
essay.
7. The essay may be submitted
ABM B: March 15, 2024 to March 17, 2024 at 11:59 in the evening.

8. The file must be uploaded to your section’s Google Drive Folder.
9. The teacher will revise (if there is a need) the draft in Google Docs. Suggestions and
