Charging the vibe
To charge the vibe, insert the pin on the recharge cable into the small
hole on the right hand side of the vibe and use any USB charger
attachment. A red light should start flashing on the neck of the vibe,
letting you know it’s charging. Leave the vibe to charge until the light
becomes steady, indicating that the vibe is fully charged. It should take 1
to 2 hours to fully charge depending on your country’s voltage. Unplug
and use. Avoid leaving the vibe on the charger longer than necessary as
this will reduce the life span of the battery.
Operating the vibe
Click and hold the on button for 3 to 5 seconds to turn the vibe on (this
safety feature prevents the vibe form accidentally being turned on).
Then click the W button to move through the various settings. To turn
the vibe off, click and hold the W button for 3 to 5 seconds again. You
should be able to operate this button easily by sliding your thumb under
the rim of the Joystick to locate the raised circle or feel for it through the
Joystick. You can also purchase a remote control ring to move through
the settings. When the Joystick is in on mode, clicking the ring will move
through the various setting and a click and hold for 3 to 5 seconds will
put the vibe into sleep mode.
Extracting the vibe
Be aware that there is quite a bit of suction to keep the vibe and the
Joystick together, so it’s important to let a bit of air in when separating the
two so as not to put too much strain on the neck.
Caring for the vibe
As silicone on silicone can have odd interactions over time, ALWAYS USE
A CONDOM between the Joystick vibe and sheath to protect them from
each other. Be sure to use an UNLUBRICATED condom or use a WATER
BASED LUBRICANT on the outside of the condom to make insertion
easier. Also store the vibe and Joystick in the two separate bags when not
in use so they are not touching.
Filling the ejaculation/lubrication reservoir
Fill the supplied syringe with liquid and inject liquid into the small hole at
the head of the Joystick. IMPORTANT: IF USING LUBE, ONLY USE WATER
BASED LUBE.
Using the ejaculation/lubrication reservoir
Once filled, a gentle squeeze of the tip will release the fluid inside. If filled
with lube, squeeze very gently to release enough lube to lube up the shaft.
If using it for ejaculation, short sharp pressure will cause the tip to squirt.
Cleaning the ejaculation/lubrication reservoir
Fill a glass with water and repeatedly draw up a full syringe of water and
squirt into the tip of the Joystick, then squeeze the tip to empty with the
tip facing down. Repeat this process 5 to 10 times.
Cleaning the Joystick
As well as cleaning the ejaculation/lubrication reservoir after each use,
also give the Joystick a wash with gentle PH neutral soap and water.
Do not use soaps that contain essential oils, especially tea tree oils or
eucalyptus oils. You may also sterilize the Joystick in boiling water, but do
not leave unattended and only boil for 5 minutes.
Store the dry Joystick in the supplied bag without the vibe inserted. Do not
squash the bag, as if it is distorted over long periods of time it will begin to
adopt this shape.
You may also powder the exterior of the Joystick with talcum powder or
corn starch, though this isn’t necessary.
Packing with the Joystick
Wear snug fitting underwear. You may pack with the Joystick with the
lubrication reservoir full or empty and the vibe inserted or not. Position
the Joystick, so that the tip sits close to your waistband and the base
between your legs. If wearing it with the lubrication reservoir filled, be
sure not to overfill it and avoid pushing up against hard surfaces, such
as benches and table edges with your crotch. Packing without the vibe
insert is much more comfortable for longer periods of packing, and it is
suggested that you only pack with the vibe inserted for short periods, due
to comfort.
Adjusting regular underwear to be used with the Joystick

Use a snug pair of underwear, ideally briefs. With some standard 5mm
sewing elastic, cut off an approximately 7cm strip, and stitch into a loop
using a needle and thread, then stitch this loop into the center of the
crotch of the underwear.
Put the loop around the neck of the vibe, with the vibe inserted into
the Joystick. Put on underwear and take the Joystick over the waistband
to test positioning. The Joystick should be being held back by the loop
enough that it will not slide too far forward and fall over the waistband.
You should also be able to tuck the Joystick far enough between your legs
for packing. You may need to adjust the size and position of the loop for
optimal fit.
Once you have found the optimal loop size and position, sew the loop
very securely in place, ideally using a sewing maching and repeatedly
going back and forth over the attachment point.
If the underwear is double layered, I suggest, cutting a very small hole just
in front of the loop on the inner layer, so that you can tuck the loop in
between the two layers when the loop is not needed.
