Recommended Safe Job
1. Equipment should be on elevated support
to enable lifting.
2. In case of not elevated, equipment should
be jacked by any end to insert solid supports
at bottom.
1. Loading of crane should be limited to
capacity.
2. Crane should be positioned on a level area
to avoid toppling.
3. Loading of lifting rope/chain/Tape should
be limited to capacity.
4. Accessories should be in good condition
and certified.
5. Proper packing should be arranged under
the load before lifting the equipment
1. Speed of the crane should be limited to be
below 10kmph and travel should be on level
surface.
2. Accessories should be in good condition
and certified.
3. Maintain the distance from the powelines.

Corrective Action
1.Place where support is taken to jack should be
capable of lifting the weight

2. Periodic Inspection and checking of
Rope/Chain/Tape used for lifting.
3. Inspection of Crane position at time of permit.
4. Work should be carried out with Trained Rigger
in good supervision.
