I. Learning Outcomes: At the end of the lesson the student are expected to:

A. Identify the Characteristic of Living things

B. Motivation:

 The teacher will inform the student that they will


be playing the games pass the mystery box

a. There are different pictures inside the mystery


box.
b. The student will past the mystery box wait until
teacher will stop the music.
c. The one who hold the box will pick out the picture
and post it on the board

C. Lesson Proper
Living Thing Reproduction – is the process of
creating an organism of the same kind. Living
things differ in the way they reproduce.

Sexual Reproduction – involves a female sex cell and a


male sex cell

Fertilization – occurs when an egg cell and a sperm cell


takes place.

Two types of Fertilization:


1.Internal Fertilization
 Internal fertilization occurs inside a female
organism by the male organism delivering a
sperm to her.
2.External Fertilization-
 Takes place when egg cells are released into the
environment and the sperm cells are released
unto them. This accurs in many aquactic
organisms such as fish and frogs.
Asexual Reproduction – is a kind of reproduction where
offspring arise from single parent and not sexual.
They are a copy of their parents.
