VOTE YOUR VALUES

You may think there are just too many candidates, and it’s too difficult to figure out who will be
best, or maybe you only vote in presidential elections every four years. However, our community
needs you to vote your values to stem the downward trends in our culture.
Your votes for School Board are extremely important to the children of Fairfax County. Please
vote your values to put people on the school board who believe parents need to be informed on
decisions being made about their children. From selecting graphic books to hiding gender
choices and pronoun usage, parents have been in the dark. Parents should know if their child is
sharing a locker room or bathroom with a student of the opposite sex.
At every level of government critical decisions are being made or blocked by people who do not
share our values. Voting is a civic duty. Vote In-Person Early if possible. See Vote Early Flyer.

REDISTRICTING BRINGS CHANGES

Due to redistricting, many Virginia Senate and House of Delegate District boundaries have
changed. To determine your new district and candidates, follow the instructions below.

FIND YOUR CANDIDATES

1. Go to https://votevaluesva.com
2. Click on “General Assembly races.”
3. Click on “Step 1: Find your new district information.” This takes you to a new website
for the General Assembly where you find your districts for VA Senate and House of
Delegates.
4. Enter your address and click on “Find now.”
5. The information that pops up shows your current VA Delegate and VA Senate number.
Click the “New in 2024” red button on the top right of each box to see your new district
number. Write your new house and senate district numbers down.
6. Click back to the https://votevaluesva.com website and click the “Step 2, Look up
candidate information.”
7. In the top right search button above the blue bar enter your House number (example
H15). Look at all the candidates running in that district, their party affiliation, and who
has endorsed them. You can learn a lot about a candidate’s values based upon their
endorsements. Also, you may go to their website for more information. Select a
candidate based upon that information.
8. Go back to the search bar and enter your Senate district number (example S33).
9. Find your local races by scrolling to the top of the page. On the top menu bar, click on
“Local and County Races,” then click on your county name (Example: Fairfax). Enter
your magisterial district to get those running in your district. Then enter “At Large” to see
that list as well.
10. These races are listed in the following order: Supervisor, School Board At-Large then
District, Clerk of Court, Commonwealth Attorney, and Sheriff. Again, you may review
their endorsements, check party affiliation and check websites.

Fairfax County School Board - Vote for 3 At-Large candidates and 1 in your magisterial district.
Note: The ballot for School Board does not list party endorsements. Voters must do your homework
or take a sample ballot into the poll.
