This is the maximum stress a material can withstand before fracturing. It is represented by
the highest point (Point D) on the stress-strain curve.
Yield strength signifies the stress level at which a material starts to deform permanently.
This is a measure of a material's ductility, which is its ability to deform plastically under
tension before fracture.
This is another measure of ductility that reflects the amount of necking a material
undergoes before fracture.
Impact Strength:
It refers to a material's ability to absorb energy and resist fracture under a sudden impact
load.
Hardness:
Material can withstand having its shape permanently changed by an external force pressing it.
