2. Giving an example in sentence in
Declarative and Interrogative.

Kindly give one example of

Very good!
How are you today?
A declarative sentence is a
sentence that
states a fact or information. This
kind of
sentence always ends with a
period
(.).

Study the given example.

Ria sells ice drops to help her

family.

The example shown above states

that Ria
sells ice drops to help her family. It
ends
with a period. Therefore, it is a
declarative sentence.

As compared to a declarative
sentence that
states a fact or information, an
interrogative
Sentence is a sentence that asks a
question.
It expects an answer in return. This
kind of
sentence always with a question
mark (?).
Study the given example.

What is Ria selling?

The example shown above asks

what Ria is
selling. It expects and ends with a
question
mark. Therefore, it is an
interrogative
sentence.

Differentiating a declarative
sentence from
interrogative sentence is easy as
long as you
remember the given definition of
these
kinds of sentences. Read the
sample
sentences below and study the
difference
between declarative sentences and
interrogative sentences.
