3.Reason and procedure of dismissal

(1) When an employee is considered to significantly lack the skills required for the
duties and recognized not to have any prospects for improvement, therefore, the employee
is considered not suitable for any other jobs.
(2) When an employee is considered to significantly lack the skills required for the
job, recognized not to have any prospects for improvement and he/she does not perform
his/her duty.
(3) In case an employee suffers from an occupational injury or illness even three years
have passed since the recuperation started, and the employee receives or has been
approved to receive the disability pension.
(4) In case an employee is recognized unable to perform duties due to mental or physical
disabilities despite an appropriate employment management and consideration for
continuation of the employment.
(5) When there are unavoidable circumstances, disasters, or other equivalent
circumstances on the corporation’s operation, downsizing the operation, transfer of
departments or closure becomes necessary, however, change of the job for an employee is
