To Whom It May Concern,

It was my pleasure to have Joshua Davis in my AVID 12 class. I have known Joshua for nearly
2 years and it has become clear to me during this time that he is hard-working, motivated,
bright, kind and has the potential to succeed at the university level. Joshua excels in the
classroom and in athletics at El Capitan High School. He is a standout leader on campus.

Joshua works well with others and is trustworthy. He has been in the AVID Club for 1 year, Link
Crew for 2 years and he has played baseball for 4 years at ECHS. He has also played soccer at
ECHS for 1 year. Joshua is dedicated to our campus culture and to creating community.

Joshua has earned a 3.6 GPA and has taken rigorous coursework during his time at ECHS. He
wants to major in Kinesiology and eventually become a physical therapist.

Joshua is prepared to be successful at the university level. I enthusiastically recommend Joshua

Davis for any academic or scholarship opportunity!
