Natalie Lucero

To whom it may concern:

I have known Natalie since 2022 and she was a sophomore at Merced Scholars Charter,
despite her transfer in junior year we still remained in contact. I am elated to write this letter of
recommendation on her behalf.

Natalie Lucero has made tremendous improvement from our first session. We constructed
routines, lessened bad habits (procrastination), learned how to self regulate, and even rekindled
her relationship with art. Despite her shy nature she is able to articulate her thoughts very well
and has a large use of vocabulary. Not once has she given attitude and has been very honest
with our sessions.

In the future Natalie Lucero aspires to be an animator, but her ambition will lead her to many
more career paths and I have full confidence she’ll excel in any path she chooses. Her art isn’t
just one medium, she has range. Natalie Lucero has had some rough years but always bounced
back.
The reason for our meeting years ago may not have been a pleasant one, but I am glad she is
just as essential in my journey as I am in hers.
