With reference to memo dated 19 September, I regret to inform you that we will not be able
to offer the credit you asked for at our meeting on 17 September to expand your business.
Because our bank is the bank’s policy only to offer substantial loans against negotiable
securities such as shares or bonds.

May I suggest that you approach a finance corporation as this type of organization might be
in a better position to help in the current financial climate ? However, I would
caution/remind/ mention/point out/ that their interest rates are likely to be significantly
higher than banks.

Once, I am sorry that we have to disappoint you in this mattter, and hope that we maybe of
more help in the future.
