The conflict between Israel and Palestine has its roots in a myriad of historical, territorial,

and religious factors. Originating from the establishment of Israel in 1948 and subsequent

displacement of Palestinians, it has evolved into a multifaceted struggle encompassing

territorial claims, religious tensions, and political ambitions.

The nature of the war is territorial disputes which the heart of the conflict, primarily

concerning the control and ownership of land over historic Palestine, a region located in the

eastern Mediterranean, which includes present-day Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza

Strip.

Israelis and Palestinians are both victims and oppressor. Both have experienced significant

suffering and loss throughout the Israel-Palestine conflict. Palestinians have endured

displacement dispossession, and loss of land and livelihood since the establishment of Israel

in 1948 and the subsequent wars and conflicts. Palestinians living in the West Bank and

Gaza Strip have faced the impacts of Israeli occupation, including restrictions on movement,

economic hardships and human rights violation.

Israelis have faced threats to their security and existence, including wars, terrorist attacks

which resulted to trauma of historical persecution, including holocaust, has shaped Israeli

perspectives on security and self-defense. Israeli civilians, including men, women and

children have been targeted by Palestinian militant groups through suicide bombings, rocket

attacks, stabbing, and shootings. Israeli often view Palestinian militant groups such Hamas

and Islamic Jihad, as oppressor due to their use of violence and terrorism against Israeli

civilians. Israeli perceptions of Palestinian leadership particularly in Gaza, may also include

accusation of authoritarianism and human right abuses.Palestinians view Israeli policies,

particularly the occupation of the West Bank and Blockade of Gaza, as oppressive.

Israel withdraw from the Gaza Strip which Gazan people conditions under blockade are

tough with unemployment rate 50% as well as deteriorating health systems and

infrastructure where in fact it was the group Hamas since formed in late 1980 which aim the
destruction of Israeli and won national elections in violently and murderously and made

believe that Israel the one control all the entry and exit of the Gaza strip which is

contradictory. The Hamas took the water pipes that were donated and they used it for

Rockets they took the fertilizer meant for building the land and used it for explosives they

took the construction materials continuously brought in to build tunnels to attack Israel

because the Hamas policy has been destructive and devastating to the people of Gaza Strip

which is contradictory.

Possible solutions to the Israel-Palestine conflict must acknowledge the complexities and

realities on the ground. One approach could involve incremental steps towards a two-state

solution, starting with confidence-building measures and practical cooperation in areas such

as security and economy. This could be accompanied by efforts to freeze settlement

expansion in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, while ensuring Israel's security needs are

met. Additionally, addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and improving living conditions

for Palestinians in the occupied territories is crucial. International support and pressure,

particularly from key stakeholders like the United States and regional actors, can help

facilitate negotiations and provide incentives for both sides to engage in meaningful

dialogue. While achieving a comprehensive resolution may take time, pursuing practical

steps towards peace can help alleviate tensions and lay the groundwork for a sustainable

solution.
