The attention of all the Departments of Secretariat / Heads of Departments /
District Collectors is invited to the reference 12th cited, wherein orders have been
issued continuing the ban orders on purchase of “FURNITURE” up to 31-03-2007.

Government have again reviewed the matter and decided to continue the ban
orders for a further period of one year with effect from 01-04-2007 due to stringent
Ways and Means position of the State. Accordingly, Government hereby direct that,
no furniture shall be allowed to be purchased by Government Departments / Offices,
except Hospitals, Hostels, Residential Schools, Residential Colleges, Newly Created
Offices, Colleges, Constitutional Authorities i.e. Governor Secretariat, High Court of
A.P. for a further period up to 31-03-2008.
