I am writing in support of Adal Navarrete Chavez for scholarship opportunities. I have had the
pleasure of knowing Adal for the past four years and have witnessed his exceptional dedication,
leadership, and commitment to both academics and extracurricular activities.

Adal maintains a GPA of 3.0, demonstrating his academic diligence and commitment to
excellence. As a member of FFA, he has not only excelled academically, but has also showcased
his leadership skills by receiving the Gold Award in the FFA Project Comp State Competition in
Butchering. His involvement in FFA reflects his passion for agriculture and community service,
as evidenced by his active participation in community service events such as FFA BBQs.

On the football field, Adal’s performance is nothing short of outstanding. In his first year playing
defensive end, Adal received a second all-team selection and was selected to the Merced County
Lions All-Star team. In 10 games, he accumulated 41 total tackles including 8 tackles for losses,
highlighting his skill, determination, and leadership on the field.

Adal’s future plans are to attend Merced College to study fire technology with the goal of
becoming a firefighter. His passion for helping others and his unwavering work ethic make him a
deserving candidate for such a prestigious job.

I am confident that Adal Navarrete-Chavez will continue to excel in all his endeavors and
positively influence those around him. I highly recommend him for any scholarship
opportunities, as he embodies the values of hard work, integrity, community service, and he truly
