Temporary Work Permit - Guide
In order to get a temporary work permit (up to 3 years) the employer should create an
account in the below page:

This program (international Mobility Program) is LMIA-exempt (that means that the
employer does not need to validate that the employee is taking a Canadian position),
details about this in the link below

In the employer portal, the employer needs to provide some information about its
business and the worker (see screenshot below), more information about this mobility
program in the below link

This is the information that is required in that portal:
After pressing “Access the offer of employment queue” the employer can “submit an
offer of employment”
The offer letter should look like the one below (please note that it is just an example)

- Explanation of how the job meets the requirements of the exemption of being
requested: International Mobility Program: Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement.
Individuals from Chile which contains an exception similar to NEFTA allowing an
LMIA exemption in which the individual has technical abilities required for the
position being offered.
Other requested information:
After an offer of employment is submitted and the fee is paid a code (starts with the
letter A) will be provided (example of the email that is received below). The offer of
employment number is a 7-digit number, starting with the letter “A.” It will appear in your
“Employment queue” shortly after you submit your offer. With that code, the worker can
get his/her temporary work permit
The proof of payment will be also provided (Starts with the letter O).
Please note that the work permit will be close to just that specific employer.
