Dear Supervising Educator,

My name is Bailey Anderson. I am in my second semester at Iowa Central, and I will be

graduating in the spring with my AA in Elementary Education. I am planning to transfer to Iowa

State University in the fall, where I will complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary

Education with a possible endorsement in mathematics. I will be completing my field experience

in your classroom. I am excited to spend time working with a teacher and students in a

classroom. Last year, I was able to spend some time in a third-grade classroom helping some

students with math. I have also been a preschool or kindergarten Sunday school teacher at my

church the past four years.

Even though I have had a bit of experience working with children, I am excited for this

opportunity to learn even more. There are so many things that go into being a classroom teacher.

I hope to improve my skills working with and teaching children in the classroom, in the hope that

one day I will be able to apply these skills to my teaching practices in the future. I want to be

there to help the students learn, and also someone they can rely on for help. I also hope to be a

helpful hand in the classroom, and I hope to accomplish these things by getting to know the

students in the classroom, so I know what they need and can help them to the best of my ability. I

hope to help you and the students in any way you need me to.

I want to thank you for taking the time to read this letter. Again, I am excited to work

with you and the students in your classroom. I look forward to everything I am going to learn

during this time. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact me anytime by email at

anderson1294@tritons.iowacentral.edu or by phone at (515) 408-6788.

Thanks,

Bailey Anderson
