Q.2. Do you think that there is one best marketing orientation/philosophy that firms should
follow?

Ans. Marketing Concept seems to be the best marketing orientation/philosophy that the firms
should follow. The marketing concept holds the key to achieving organizational goals consists of the
company being more effective than its chosen target markets. When a company makes a product or
services which is problem solving and satisfies their needs then they also build a relationship of trust
with the consumers. The marketing concept relies on four pillars namely target market, customer
needs, integrated marketing and profitability. This concept begins by figuring out who wants what,
and pays attention towards the needs and wants of those consumers. They work upon the need of a
consumer which leads to them producing profits by satisfying customers because they are giving
what consumers want.
