YOUR FAMILY MOVED TO A BETTER CITY

We are a beautiful family from the city of bogota-Colombia we made the decisionto
move to Australia looking for a better quality of life, We are going to tell you a little
aboutour experience in this new City.

Dad:

My name is José, I am 42 years old, we wanted to have a

better future and improve our lifestyle since in Bogotá there
are not many opportunities to get ahead, I traveled with my
wife Andrea she is 40 years old and My daughter Natalia
she is 20 years old, my daily routine is as follows, in the
morning I wake up at 6 am, I prepare breakfast for my
family, we take showers in turns and have breakfast at 7 am,
we go out to work each one in a different place, I arrive at
our house at 4 in the afternoon, I have eleven, then my
family arrives and we go out to a park near our house,
sometimes we go to play sports, eat ice cream, we go to the
movies and always in family, thanks to the fact that this
month is hot, because last month it rained too much and
when that happens it is too cold, you have to have the right
clothes for that climate, but we have the warmth of the family
and a good cup of coffee.

Mother:

My name is Andrea, I am Nataly's mother, we have had

many experiences with her since we lived in Australia,
we have visited many places but I miss the landscapes
of Colombia and celebrations like Mother's Day I feel
very happy to live here, the climate is pleasant and the
kangaroos seem very beautiful to me, I can also eat
them since their meat is commercialized and they
consider that there are many in Australia but in
Colombia I felt more the affection of the people. My
daughter starts her studies at Monash University
located near the house where we are living,I am scared
because the city is very big and she is not used to it.

I miss my family a lot, especially my grandmother, I talk to her every

day. I also miss my neighborhood in Bogota, my city, my people,
living in Australia is great, you get to know many cultures, places
that make your stay more pleasant and happy. I already have
classmates at the university, they are very kind and every day they
give me a tour in it to get to know it better. In conclusion, I can say
that both Bogota and Australia each have their space, their
cultures, their gastronomy, tourist places that make them attractive
to all tourists in general, and their people who are equally friendly to
us.
