Key objectives
Quick and direct problem-solving is crucial to
prevent worsening and preventing new problems.

Problem-solving enables individuals to solve

challenges in daily life and work.

Problem-solving abilities enhance

collaboration.
Example

Gossip, often malicious and linked to interpersonal

relationships, can quickly escalate into harassment or
bullying if not addressed promptly to prevent potential harm.
teachers and students
privacy
When considering privacy, teachers
should remember that all student
personal information belongs to the
student and therefore should be kept
private. This information includes things
like assessment results, grades, and
demographic information.
example

leakage of answer keys and information

that is really crucial.
Discrimination in workplace

Discrimination occurs when a protected class is

treated differently at work, resulting in unfair
treatment. Harassment, on the other hand, is
unpleasant and unwanted behavior, either verbal
or physical, committed by deliberate and
persistent offender(s) to create a hostile
environment.
EXAMPLE
performance skILLS
Age discrimination laws prohibit employers from
indicating age preference in job descriptions,
internships, or other company documents, including
promotion criteria.

GENDER
The Equal Pay Act of 1963 and Title VII of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964 protect individuals' rights to equal
pay for equal work, ensuring job content determines
job equality and prohibiting gender preference in job
postings.
EXAMPLE
pHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Unfair treatment of job candidates or employees
based on race or related characteristics is illegal, as
is color discrimination based on skin color or
complexion.

ETHNICITY /RELIGION
Employers are prohibited from unfairly treating
employees based on their religious beliefs/Culture or
tradition, and must provide reasonable
accommodations for employees to practice their
spiritual practices.
Discrimination in school
Discrimination can occur in almost any aspect of
school life, including teachers' attitudes and
expectations, school rules and codes of conduct,
selection and grouping practices, curricula,
teaching methods and materials, changing
facilities, career guidance, canteen food, and the
physical school environment.

workplace safety
Workplace safety involves
implementing a company's
Environmental, Safety, and Health
Policy statement and a comprehensive
safety plan and program to protect
employees from work-related illnesses
and injuries.

Governed by Article 282 of the Penal

Code, which penalizes grave threats
with imprisonment or a fine. Alarm and
Scandal: Article 155 covers acts causing
disturbance or public scandal,
punishable by arresto menor.
example
In a golf club, they do not secure the
safety of the caddies/umbrella girls. I
observe that they are prone to
accidents, and many of them are also
hit by the golf ball, but the organization
does not take any action if you do not
follow up or report to the officials.
school’s safety and
security

A safe and secure environment is a

prerequisite for effective teaching and
learning. Threats to the safety and
security of people and property can
arise from natural hazards – for
example earthquake, floods and storms
– or from human actions – such as
vandalism, arson, and violent crime.

social media usage
While social media is useful for
mental breaks and staff
engagement, excessive use in the
office may be damaging to the
organization. It can lead to
people devoting a significant
amount of time to personal
hobbies rather than working.
Social networking in the
workplace may potentially pose a
security concern to enterprises.
