Properties - Low friction behaviour

- A soft, smooth handle is obtained
- Needle hole formation is prevented

Application

Wet waxing with fresh liquor after dyeing or bleaching

a) 100% cotton yarns or cellulosic fibres or blends with synthetic

fibres or with wool
Amounts to be applied: 1 - 3% Evo Wax SWS

Mode of operation:
- Fill cold soft water into the feed tank
- Add Evo Wax SWS directly or to the replenishing tank
- The finishing liquor should have a pH value of approx. 6
(if necessary add 0.1 - 0.5 ml/l acetic acid)
- Add the liquor and run for 10 min without heating, using flow reversal
(3 min inside - out, 5 min outside - in), static pressure approx. 3 - 4 bar
- Heat 2 °C/min to 40 - 50 °C, and hold for approx. 10 min
- Drain liquor
- Spin dry
- Dry

b) Yarns consisting of PES, PAN, WO, PA/WO, PES/WO, etc.

Amounts to be applied: 1 - 3% Evo Wax SWS

Mode of operation:
- Fill cold soft water into the feed tank
- Add Evo Wax SWS directly or to the replenishing tank
- The finishing liquor should have a pH value of approx. 6
(if necessary, add 0.1 ml/l - 0.5 ml/l acetic acid)
- Add the liquor and run for 10 min without heating, using flow
reversal (3 min inside - out, 5 min outside - in), static pressure of
approx. 3 - 4 bar
- Heat 2 °C/min to 50 - 65 °C, and hold for 10 min
- Drain liquor
- Spin dry
- Dry
