How to SAFELY microdose

#microstepsforamacrochange
A harm reduction aproach to Microdosing
Introduction
How does Microdosing work exactly? Does it work or is it just a placebo
effect? What is the mechanism of action of a tiny amount of psilocybin in
the brain and body?

All of these questions lack final scientifically proven answers yet, as

investigations and studies on the topic are still in their early stages,
nevertheless, witnessing the rise of the use of sub-hallucinogenic doses of
psychedelic substances in various contexts and for a variety of purposes,
I designed this guide based on information and data I’ve gathered from
my experience working with individuals and groups, and from the
psychedelic community through online platforms and in-person talks and
gatherings.

in the case of exploration or experimentation, it's crucial to approach

Microdosing responsibly and with an emphasis on safety.

This guide was created as a harm reduction tool to be used through the
micro-dosing journey, starting with safely finding the right dose for you or
your “sweet spot”, and selecting the intake protocol, to offering a
structured way to track your experiences daily so you can observe any
changes that might be occurring.

What is microdosing?
1 Investigate:
Dedicate enough time to learn about the traditional uses of
the substance or Earth medicine you want to work with, as well
as the scientific research published out there about it.

Sometimes you’ll find yourself reading some publications or

listening to a podcast, conference, or a simple talk that sounds
or feels hard to understand, what to do?

Research, Ask, and ask again! Don’t be shy about searching

for a reliable source of information to get answers or
clarifications, this is a very important step for you to feel
comfortable with the topic, and with the substance you chose,
confident about any decision you take in this regard, and
responsible for the objective you set for yourself.

@releaseandrewire
Set an intention, an objective,
and the milestones to reach
there!

2 Intention:

Setting a general objective for your protocol,

and target-specific objectives that lead you to the bigger one
help you track your advancements, continuously remind you
of the destination, give you a boost of self-confidence each
time one milestone is reached, and help you be more efficient
by setting an “Action” timeline.

@releaseandrewire
Treat it as
a supplement,
not as the
"panacea” !
3 Responsibility and gratitude:
Take a moment to express gratitude for yourself and the
process you are in, and be grateful for all that it has to bring
to the table.
A Microdose is not a magic bullet. Think of it as a supplement
that helps you reach the objectives you set and their
milestones, in slightly a faster way.

Keeping in mind that the micro-dose is just a tool that might

help you shape a wider perspective on life in general, as well
as on your emotional and mental states, might be a helpful
way to not rely on the micro-dose itself, but work hand in
hand with it to reach your goal.

@releaseandrewire
KEEP TRACK !
4
Relying on your memory might not be
the best option sometimes
Our memory is selective, and because of the confirmation
bias, it will bring back only the info that confirms our old
narratives and belief systems, so reflect on your experience,
journal, write or record voice notes, etc.

Use any accessible tools to keep track of the road you are
walking!

Choose the parameters you would like to observe, based on

the objectives you set for your protocol.

Observe your energy level, your appetite, your physical

energy, and any other elements that you think they are
important to observe in your case.

@releaseandrewire
5 You might feel that the process is going slow (or not) But
If you feel so, a good mature talk to yourself might help!

Some examples of questions to ask yourself:

How long did it take me to build the pattern or habit that I am

trying to work on while micro-dosing? And how much time did I
dedicate already to changing it?

If the time you needed to build it was much longer than the
time you dedicated to getting rid of it, then just try to give
yourself some more time maybe, be easy on yourself, believe
in yourself and the efforts you put into the process, and keep
going forward!

Am I being aware of the advancements happening? Even though

they might feel small, am I appreciating them the way I should?

Have a look at today’s journal and compare it to the first one

you wrote; do they see any advancements?

If I describe my situation or state of mind now, does it feel a little

bit different than the description I would have used before
starting the protocol?

If you could see any positive difference, even though tiny,

value it embrace it, and make out of it a motivational element
to keep going forward!

Focus and mental sharpness?

More energy and stamina?

@releaseandrewire

Focus, memory, and learning ability?

Our fellow micro-dosers are always keen on exploring

and investigating new stacks and supplementations
to hit their objective and experience
the full potential of Microdosing

Amateurs and some alternative therapists are

mentioning the benefits of stacking the microdose with
cacao, lion’s mane mycelium, Gingko Biloba,
and/or Ashwagandha.

Ginkgo biloba and Ashwagandha are two of the main

supplements people use to increase their learning
and memory abilities and Cacao is a good
focus enhancer. Combining them with Psilocybin,
people expect more effective results.

This stack consists of:

Lion’s mane Mycelium
Vitamin B3 (100-200mcg tablets)
Ginkgo Biloba and Ashwagandha powder or liquid
extract
Pure Cacao powder
( To be sustainable and work together for a better future,
Fairtrade and organic products are to be considered, if possible )

The mindset on the micro-dosing day:

Be positive, be conscious, be grateful, without judgment.

Take time to observe and think about your surroundings;
In case you find yourself in a violent, negative
or sad environment, it is best not to micro-dose.

Set your intentions, not your

expectations.

See the destination you would like

to reach and direct your thoughts
toward this intention.
