M/s Mamraj & Sons.

M/s Mamraj & Sons. is a proprietorship concern Established by Mr. Phool

Chand Agrawal (Proprietor) in the year 1995. Earlier it was a partnership firm
but at present it has converted into proprietorship concern. Main activity of the
firm is manufacturer, trading, import, export agent and otherwise dealing in rice
milling, paddy processing, parboiling, dal milling, daal processing etc. The
production capacity of the mill is 16.00 MT per Hour. Total area of the land in
which mill is constructed is around 2.00 acre.

From the beginning firm is achieving sufficient profit level. In FY 2015-16

company achieved a turnover of Rs.35.60 crore around when the market
condition was very tough.
It supply its production all over Chhattisgarh & other states. Future partners as
well as existing proprietor of the firm are well experienced in the line of
activity of the firm. Keeping in view of their reputations and business
experience in the field, firm is hoping to generate more profit from its project
and also to meet the requirements of the customers as a whole.

Moreover, future partners as well as existing proprietor originates from a

strong business family which will serve as value added quality to their firm in
coming Future and also to contribute to the project in all the respective

MARKET :-

Agricultural plays a part vital role in the Economy of C.G. as well as India,
contributiig a major of National Income. It is the major occupation of about
75% of the working force. The formost objective of the Government is not only
to increase the production of Food Grains to Feed the growing population but
also to provide greater employment opportunities specifically in backward
areas. Government is trying its efforts to increase the level of employment by
setting up new small scale and medium scale industrial units.
Since rice constitutes the main part of our food, agriculture is paid more
attention. People use rice as food and prepare different dishes, thus it has always
healthy demand in the market. Another factor which circulates the demand is
the overgrowing population.
The family is already running a rice mill in the name of Shree Om rice Tech
(P) Ltd. since last 08 years & looking at the demand this project is planned. The
experience gained in last 08 years & relation developed with the customers,
traders will play the main role for the success of the unit.
RAW MATERIAL REQUIREMENT :-

The main raw material required for the proposed unit is paddy. Kharora
Mandi is one of the biggest Mandi for food grains and paddy. The unit set up
in the Chhattisgarh area which is well known for its paddy production. As such
there will not be any problem in procurement of raw material.
As per the machine capacity requirement of paddy on at 100% capacity
utilization is as under-
Machine capacity - 16 M.T. paddy/10 hours.
We are supposed to run our unit at least 300 days.
Our capacity at 100% is 48000 MT per year for 300 days.
Yield is estimated as under:
Rice 65 % of input
Broken Rice 4 % of input
Bran 4 % of input
Husk 25 % of input
Wastage 2 % of input .

MANUFACTURING PROCESS :-

i) Pre-Cleaning- The paddy is first cleaned in the pre-cleaner. The lighter

impurities and dust are sucked by a suction fan.

ii) Shelling: Shelling is done in the rubber roll sheller. Paddy is put into the
sheller, during which process husk is separated from rice.

iii) Paddy Separation: The paddy and rice are segregatrd by the paddy separator
when the mix of separated rice and paddy from the sheller is passed through
the paddy separator.

iv) Polishing: The segregated rice is then passed through the polisher where
the bran and rice are clearly separated from each other. After this operation rice
looks white. This operation is repeated through polishers until rice gets its
white form.
 v) Weighting & Packing: The rice from the polisher is weighted in platform
balance and packed in jute bags for sale.

UTILITIES & SERVICES :-

Utilities and services are the facilities required for successful and efficient
operation of the plant. such as Electric power, water, fuel, steam etc. for
this unit utilities required are mainly
i) power
ii) water.
i) Power supply:
The proposed unit is electrical power based unit. The total connected
load for the unit is estimated to be 320 KVA.

ii) Water requirement:

Water is needed for drinking purposes only. It will be made available to
the unit from the bore well proposed at the factory site.The expenditure to be
incurred in boaring tube well,piping and infrastructure development for water
supply system has been added in the estimate of land development.

ORGANIZATION & MANPOWER

The Promoter will recruit suitable persons to carryout various

administrative, production activities of the unit.
The organization and set up for the unit has been worked out taking into
account:
