Dr.Vedpal singh is currently working in the Dept. of Pharmacognosy, College of
Pharmacy, JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida, UP. India. He has
completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy in the year 2006 from Agra Public
Pharmacy College (Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam University, Lucknow, UP) and Masters of
Pharmacy (Pharmacognosy) in the year 2009, from JSS College of Pharmacy
Rockland, Ooty, affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University,
Chennai. PhD from JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (June )
2020. Mysuru Karataka, The presently working on respiratory disease
particularly on asthma and Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

His research interest includes Isolation and Characterization of natural product

and standardisation of herbal research. The core research area on the
Desmodium species (Fabaceae) on molecular target to inhibit LO/LT (IL-4, IL-6,
IL-8, 5LO) for antiasthmatic potential till date. Other research are cancer and
tuberculosis on natural products. He has published 14 research papers & 2
review article. (Scopus, Pubmed, WOS, Google scholar and SCI indexed journals
followed by Taylor & Frnacis, Sringer Nature, Bentham Sicence and Degruter
publishing companies repute).

Received a PhD Research Grant from ICMR, New Delhi, and JSSAHER, Mysuru
during PhD tenure.

Worked as a Project Assistant in bilateral project between India and

Southafirca (JSSAHER & University of Pretoria) funded by DST, Republic of
India and Southafrica.

Worked as SRF under ICMR, New Delhi. India
