RESOLUTION NO. 004 - 2024

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE THREE (3) YEARS COMPREHENSIVE BARANGAY

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PLAN (2023-2025) OF BARANGAY LAY-AHAN, POTOTAN, ILOILO.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8 of the Republic Act of 10742, otherwise known as the
“Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, states that ten percent (10%) of the general fund of
the Barangay shall be set aside for the Sangguniang Kabataan;

WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP) shall aligned with
the Philippine Youth Development Plan (PYDP) and the Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP) of
the city/province and municipal;

WHEREAS; the CBYDP shall give priority to programs, projects, and activities that will promote
and ensure the equitable access to quality education, environmental protection, climate change
adaptation, disaster risk reduction and resiliency, youth employment and livelihood, health,
including health services and adolescent sexual reproductive health, anti-drug abuse, gender
sensitivity, sports development, and capability building which emphasizes leadership training;

WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP) shall serve as the
legal basis for the preparation of Annual Barangay Youth Investment Plan (ABYIP);

NOW THEREFORE; on motion made by Hon. Michael A. Palabrica SK Kagawad duly seconded
in masse, be it.
Resolved as it is hereby resolved to approve the 3 years Comprehensive Barangay Youth
Development Plan (2023-2025) of Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Lay-ahan, Pototan, Iloilo.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copy of this Resolution to the office of the Sangguniang Bayan,
Sangguniang Barangay, Municipal Budget Office, DILG Office and the Municipal Accountant’s office for
the review and approval.
