Good morning my dear teacher and my dear classmates,

Today I’m here to speak about the growing issue of cyberbullying, a form of harassment and
threatening behavior facilitated by technology, affecting individuals of all ages. According to
surveys, a shocking 65 percent of people have experienced some kind of online abuse, which
highlights the terrifying extent of cyberbullying. This not only ruins the virtual world but also
permanently damages the mental and emotional health of the victims.

Cyberbullying causes emotional and psychological damage, causing sadness, anxiety, loneliness,
academic decline, behavioral changes, and social withdrawals. Understanding warning signs is
crucial for self-awareness and support.

So how can we help?

• Providing an environment free from criticism and motivating victims to talk about their
experiences.
• Make offenders responsible for their actions.
• Reporting incidents of cyberbullying to the right authorities or platforms to take necessary
steps.
• Provide ourselves and our loved ones with the knowledge necessary to securely travel the
online world.
• Engage in responsible online conduct by being cautious about the content we post and the
potential impact it may have on others.

In conclusion, each of us must commit ourselves to prevent cyberbullying. We can help create a
safer digital environment by understanding its meaning and been aware of the digital world. Let us
work together to create a safer digital environment so that everyone can continue to find
connection and joy in this digital world.

Thank you.
