DPSP- verification of Inventory – 31st Dec 2023

Please refer to your email dated 25.01.2023 and office note received by undersigned on
29.01.2024 vide which the responsibility of physical verification of inventory items of Haryana
RO was assigned to undersigned. In this connection, the physical verification of inventory items
as per the inventory list was carried out. The items mentioned in the inventory list were found at
their mentioned places. The observations made by the undersigned are as under:

1. As per inventory list steel racks for record room in basement record room should be 40 but
45 steel racks were found.
2. Inventory Sl No 277 – 299, 292 – 296, 300 - 389, 420, 422 - 424, 441 - 445 did not have
serial number
3. Inventory Sl No 48 – 90, 102, 103, 130 – 160, 163 – 170, 173 – 174, 184 – 281, 288 – 290,
300 – 386, 391 – 396, 398 – 402, 419 – 426, 433 - 445 did not have FAMS inventory
number.
4. The total number of items for inventory serial number 1 NB HR1.1 to 1.32, 1 NB HR 2.1 to
2.94 tally with the provided list whereas the items are scattered in the office building.
5. For the inventory item number 1 NB HR 7.1 to 7.19, 1NB HR 8.1 to 8.13, 2 NB HR 19.3 to
19.12, 2 NB HR 4.1 to 4.15, 5 NB HR 1.1 to 1.10, 35 NB HR 2.1 to 2.7, the total number of
items tally with the provided list but the serial number was not mentioned properly on all
the items.
6. For inventory item number 39 NB HR 1.4, 1.5,1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 40 NB HR 1.1 to 1.68, 2.1 to
2.52, 1.1 to 1.4, 41 NB HR 6.1, 7.1 to 7.2, 1.1 to 1.3, 1.1 & 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5,1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 10.1,
845, the items are in order whereas the mentioned location in the list is not correct.
7. One Digital clock was found in CGM Cabin.
8. Desktops, Laptop, Printers and Scanners were not as per the mentioned employee name.
Updated list of Desktops, Laptop, Printers and Scanners have been shared in annexure X.
9. Apart from the above mentioned observations, all the items were found in order as per the
provided list by DPSP.
10. Many of the listed items did not have the serial numbers, FAMS inventory number. So for
better physical verification in future the concerned department may place the inventory
serial number/FAMS number on the items before starting the physical verification
exercise. The list may be also be updated accordingly.
