REQUEST FOR THE SUPPLY OF LIQUID HAND SANITIZERS AND HAND WASH

We write to request for the supply of World Health Organization (WHO) standard hand
sanitizers (minimum 65% alcohol) and hand wash for teachers and students in secondary
schools. As preparations for opening schools are on, providing preventive measures is
essential for curtailing the spread of Covid-19 among teachers and students. The products are
produced with inputs from staff of Departments of Pharmaceutical Technology, Science
Laboratory Technology, Physical Sciences and Life Sciences within the School of
Technology, Kano State Polytechnic.

Sir, with the current surge of the virus around the globe, the concern for resurgence is
genuine and this step will go a long way in augmenting the effort of Kano State government
in flattening the curve of infection in the state. Sir, it is envisaged that other government
parastatals will be compelled to emulate your initiative as no single agency or parastatals
commands the large number of people like yours.

The safety materials are packaged in a rubber rack for easy transportation and distribution
and they come in the following forms;

1. Liquid Hand Sanitizers (100ml) @ N350 each

2. Liquid Hand wash (100ml) @ N300 each

It is our firm believe that purchasing the items will not only ensure healthier students and
staff, but will also guarantee compliance with the National Center for Disease Control
(NCDC) guidelines for reopening schools.
