In 1998, Messer Romania Gaz was established. The company is present since then across the
Romania:
o Head office in Bucharest
o acetylene production and filling plant in
Mintia, Jud. Hunedoara
o air separation plant (ASU) in Resita
o industrial, medical and food gas filling
plant in Mintia
o a vast filling gas distribution network, consisting of over 40 centers covering the entire
territory of Romania.

Purpose:
Principal Responsibilities
Reporting line
The Project Engineers are reporting to the Manager Project Execution CO2 Plants and are working
on projects with team members from Germany and other countries.
The position is based in Bucharest and will require worldwide travel, about 20% of the time.
Professional Skills
− A degree in engineering or a professional qualification in process engineering, refrigeration
engineering or comparable, as well as several years of professional experience in the
handling of process engineering plants
− Good knowledge of machine and pressure equipment (pumps, compressors, heat
exchangers, vessels, etc.) as well as knowledge of industrial valves and instrumentation
− Good Knowledge in planning of industrial refrigeration plants and thermodynamics is
considered a plus
− CAD and MS-Visio basic knowledge
− English is a must
− German language skills would be considered a plus
