1. To practise his recall and fluency skills for addition and subtraction problems using
Numbots for a minimum of 15 minutes at least twice a week.
2. To carefully check if a maths problem requires him to add or subtract.

1. To re-read books, sounding out new words correctly to increase his speed and
confidence.

Class Teachers Comment:

Daniel is a cheerful and charming member of 2F who was quick to settle into the routines
of Year 2. He is a kind, caring student who has positive relationships with all his
classmates and it came as no surprise when he received his first star award for his caring
nature.

Daniel always has valuable contributions to make in group and whole class discussions.
However, he can get over-excited and chatty at times, particularly in group work, and then
he is reminded of good listening skills and is usually quick to settle and refocus. Daniel
has an enquiring mind, enjoys learning about the world and asks lots of relevant
questions. He enjoys all our topic lessons and has been showing his understanding of
some new vocabulary.

It is an absolute pleasure teaching Daniel and I am looking forward to seeing what else he
will achieve as he continues to progress throughout the course of the year. Keep up the
great effort Daniel.
