Valvoline Professional Series Power Steering Fluid is a full-synthetic fluid that is specifically formulated
to meet the demands of most power steering systems. VPS Power Steering Fluid prevents leakage and
squealing under severe conditions and provides excellent protection against wear, copper corrosion,
oxidation and foaming. This full synthetic formulation will help maintain the appropriate viscosity in high
and low temperature environments, ensuring optimal pumpability and wear protection even in the most
extreme conditions.

VPS Power Steering Fluid is suitable for use in domestic, Asian (excluding Honda*) and European power
steering applications, including GM part number 1050017 (Spec. 9985010), Chrysler Spec. 5931, Ford
M2C128C & D, and Nissan E-PSF. This also includes power steering applications where certain ATFs
(Automatic Transmission Fluids) are prescribed. VPS Power Steering Fluid is also suitable for use in severe
applications where Pentosin CHF fluids are required.

Review your owner’s manual for fluid recommendations. Using the wrong fluid can cause performance deficiencies
such as excessive foaming or improper lubrication. Never use power steering fluid in a transmission or engine.

Check the level of the power steering fluid at least once a year. If the power steering fluid is low, check the owner's
manual for proper fluid specifications before bringing fluid up to the specified level. Do not overfill.
