A. Warm-up: (5’)

b) Content: Ss listen to Sammy and her dad talking about how to help the community to decide if each of the
statements is T (true) or F (false).
c) Expected outcomes: Ss can review some vocabulary of the theme: Social issues.

get fit. You know, it is quite a hard job.
Andy: Definitely. I guess this programme includes a
detailed diet plan because I think if you eat
better, it will help tremendously.
John: Yes, you’re right. You will be told exactly what
to eat, how much cardio to do, and how to
weight train in this programme. For example,
my daily diet calories have from 20 to 30%
carb intake.
Andy: Oh, it’s not easy to keep fit at all.
John: True, Andy. But I think it is worth it. When
people get old, they will mostly want to be
healthy and active to enjoy our life.

a) Objectives: to revise the vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation of what they have learned in Unit 6.
b) Content:
- Choose the word that has the underlined part pronounced differently from the others.
- Choose the word that has a stress pattern different from the others.
- Circle the letter A, B, C or D to indicate the best option for each of the questions.
- Circle the letter A, B, C or D to indicate the word CLOSEST in meaning to the underlined word in the question.
- Circle the letter A, B C or D to indicate the word OPOSITE in meaning to the underlined word in the question.
- Choose the underlined part A, B, C or D that needs correction.
- Complete the sentences with the correct forms of the words in brackets.
