 TELEPHONE WIRING PROPOSAL

Mr. Manalastas, a 4th year ECE student,

created a telephone layout and cable run for the
five-story building. The total number of telephones
is 36. The first and third floors consist of seven
telephones each. The second floor consists of six
telephones. The fourth and fifth floors are
identical; they consist of eight telephones each.
The selected service entrance is aerial because
the location of the building is near a telco post.The
building has a telecommunications room, an
electronics room, an equipment room, a computer
area, a lobby, a reception area, a bathroom, a fire
exit, and an entrance. I decided to place two
telephones in the reception area so the person in
charge can easily communicate with another
caller. I also place two telephones in the
